Terms of Service

1. The service

Psycheia provides AI-assisted identity capture tools, including the Digital Soul Builder, that help you create a personal AI context document (your Digital Soul). The service is delivered via psycheia.co.uk and associated web applications.

Psycheia is currently in an early pilot phase. The product is functional but actively being developed. Features may change, and some elements of the service are not yet available to the general public.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Psycheia. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Psycheia is intended for personal and professional use by adults.

3. Your account

Some tiers of Psycheia require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used for fraudulent or harmful purposes.

4. Your Digital Soul — ownership and responsibility

Your Digital Soul document belongs to you. Psycheia does not claim ownership of the content you create through the intake process. You can download, copy, and use your Digital Soul however you choose.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide during the intake process. You are responsible for how you choose to use your Digital Soul with third-party AI systems.

Psycheia is not responsible for the outputs or actions of third-party AI systems that you provide with your Digital Soul as context. How those systems use your document is governed by their own terms of service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Psycheia to:

• Create a Digital Soul for another person without their full, informed consent
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the service
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the service
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law
• Attempt to access other users' data

6. AI-generated content

Your Digital Soul document is generated by AI (Anthropic Claude) based on the answers you provide. The output reflects the information you have shared and the AI's synthesis of it. It is not a clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic document.

Psycheia does not make representations about the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated outputs. You should review your Digital Soul before using it as context for AI systems and correct anything that does not accurately represent you.

The Digital Soul Builder is not a substitute for professional advice — medical, psychological, financial, legal, or otherwise.

7. Pilot programme terms

If you are participating in the Psycheia pilot programme, the following additional terms apply:

• You agree to provide honest feedback at agreed checkpoints (weeks 1, 4, and 8 of your pilot period)
• Feedback may be used to improve the product. Identifiable information from your feedback will not be published without your separate written permission
• You may leave the pilot at any time. Your Digital Soul document remains yours
• Pilot users who complete the programme in good faith will receive lifetime free access to the Mid tier Digital Soul Builder upon public launch, and 50% off higher tiers during the first year
• Psycheia reserves the right to end the pilot programme early if necessary, in which case the same benefits will be honoured for participants who engaged in good faith

8. Payments and refunds

Paid tiers of Psycheia are not yet publicly available. When they launch, specific pricing, billing, and refund terms will be published alongside the relevant tier. These terms will be updated at that time.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Psycheia does not store your payment card details.

9. Intellectual property

The Psycheia brand, product design, software, and written content (excluding your personal Digital Soul content) are owned by Psycheia Ltd and protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission.

The content you create through the Digital Soul Builder — your answers, your Digital Soul document — belongs to you. You grant Psycheia a limited licence to process and store it solely for the purpose of delivering the service to you.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Psycheia available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable during maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service with reasonable notice. For significant changes that affect paid users, we will provide at least 30 days notice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Psycheia Ltd is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service
• Loss of data where you have not downloaded or saved your Digital Soul
• Actions taken by third-party AI systems based on your Digital Soul
• Losses arising from service interruptions or technical failures

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded under English law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make significant changes, we will notify active users by email and update the date above. Continued use after changes are published constitutes acceptance.
